DEDICATION
Children are a valued gift from God. Child Dedication is a public statement of faith to raise a child under God’s grace and wisdom. It shows that you recognize your child is a gift from God and you are dedicating yourself to being a Godly example to your child. While child dedication does not secure their salvation, it is a symbolic moment of entrusting the child’s life to God’s will. We typically dedicate children ages three and under. If you have older children who have never been dedicated, we are happy to pray a blessing over the entire family.

Eight days after the child was born the Israelites brought their children to the priest for a blessing. Hannah brought Samuel to Eli the priest to dedicate him to the Lord. Mary and Joseph also brought Jesus to the temple for His dedication.
